The CBP is directed by Dr. Craig Mackenzie. Craig has extensive experience benchmarking corporate social and environmental performance. For nearly 10 years he ran socially responsibly investment teams at Insight Investment and Friends Provident. He has been Chair of the Criteria Development Committee at FTSE4Good since inception, is a member of the Technical Advisory Committee of the Global Reporting Initiative, and advises the Carbon Disclosure Project Supply Chain Leadership Collaboration. He has been involved in the development of the BitC CR Index and influential benchmarks on sustainable housebuilding, responsible supply chain management, and biodiversity in the oil, gas and mining sectors.

 

As head of responsible investment he has worked with dozens of companies on issues including business and human rights, bribery and corruption, pricing of medicines in developing countries, and climate change; as well as various aspects of the governance, management, and reporting of corporate responsibility. He has a PhD on responsible investment and lectures on the new Carbon Management MSc at the University of Edinburgh.
